What I’m Wearing: Forever 21 dress (similar) | Urban Outfitters shorts | Sam Edelman sandals | VS Pink bra | Forever 21 necklace (similar)
This past weekend was one of the best weekends I’ve had all year, thanks to good music and great friends. One of the friends is featured in today’s outfit post, so there are really two festival looks to pull inspiration from. I mentioned before that comfortable shoes are extremely important for festival attire, which is why I wore these Sam Edelman gladiator sandals last weekend to the Alabama Shakes concert. Because I test drove them out and knew they would be comfortable, I wore them all day for the festival on Saturday and my feet weren’t killing me by the end of the night.
For the rest of the outfit, I was aiming for pure festival vibes. The maxi dress is from Forever 21, which I originally planned on wearing by itself but didn’t totally love how it looked on its own. Adding shorts from Urban Outfitters and a decorative bra underneath made the dress more wearable for a music festival.
I’m not totally sure where my friend Karen’s top is from, but you can easily recreate the look with a solid maroon tank top and denim shorts. Her shoes are from Agaci, but she did mention that by the end of the night her feet were hurting so keep that in mind if you pick up a pair. The hat was a last minute purchase I picked up at Zara but ended up not wearing, so she added it to her outfit.
Overall I had a wonderful weekend filled with friends, music, food, shopping, and good old fashioned heart to heart conversations. Who doesn’t love a weekend like that?
