Do you ever see an item and instantly picture the outfit you’re going to make out of it? That’s what happened with this polka dot skirt. I wore the skirt to work, so I paired a cardigan with it to keep the look conservative and business appropriate. The skirt is navy even though it may appear almost black in pictures, and I knew instantly I wanted to wear it with red for a pop of color. I don’t have one, but I also think this skirt would look very pretty and bright with a yellow cardigan. I like this outfit because it gives a sense of youthfulness in a business atmosphere. Just because you have a professional job doesn’t mean you’re restricted to black and white! Experiment with color, and don’t let your job age you.
