We are officially in the holiday season! September came and went, now it’s time to shift gears into the holiday mindset. Actually, I have a staycation and festival to get through before switching into holiday mode, but October is here! Today’s look is one we shot in Dallas while we were there for StyleCon.

It took me a very long time to get into rompers. Remember when they first made a comeback? A lot of the early rompers were so unflattering and made from an uncomfortable material. While I still don’t own very many rompers, the quality and fit have progressed over the years.

With rompers, came jumpsuits. This style is something I can appreciate. A well-fitted jumpsuit with a wide trouser leg can transition from summer to fall and work to play with ease. The striped jumpsuit featured in today’s look is from Forever 21, and I surprisingly purchased a color although it is available in black. I like to keep the jumpsuit as the focal point so accessories and layers are always at a minimum for me when I wear one. Instead of adding a jacket and jewelry, I simply added a pair of Noughts & Kisses sunglasses and a black backpack from Forever 21.
