We once again have a nice breeze in the air, just in time for Thanksgiving! Today’s outfit post is a darker twist on an outfit combo I’ve previously shared on the blog. Depending on where you live, it may be too cold to have a bit of skin showing. If you fall within that area, you can totally recreate this look and just add an extra layer of sweater tights underneath to keep you warm.
For those of you in a “winter in the morning” state like me, now is the time to take advantage of those in-between outfits. These are the outfits that you can wear and feel both warm and cool at the same time, perfect for the transition season. I went with a shirtdress from Forever 21, which I especially like because it’s has a longer hemline in the back. I originally purchased it as an ACL outfit option, but it was too hot for the dress last month. Now that it’s cooler, I paired the dress with Steve Madden thigh high boots.
If the weather is comfortable, the outfit works without a jacket. On this particular day, it was pretty cold so I added my staple leather jacket for a cohesive look.
What’s your opinion on the transition outfits?
