I totally didn’t plan the floral dress with the video content intentionally, but it fits! When I purchased the dress from Forever 21 a few weeks ago, it made me think of California. Then I realized our local store is selling a summer collection targeted towards California fashion and this dress was one of the curated styles. I don’t typically wear sneakers with a dress, but I immediately knew how I would style this one.
There’s something about the color and cut of the dress that just screams casual summer day. To add to the Cali vibe, I wore my low-top Converse sneakers and a distressed denim jacket from Zara. I don’t own a lot of red, and I’m honestly not sure why. A cute red outfit makes a statement, and I found myself getting quite a few compliments on this look when I wore it while grocery shopping over the weekend. I’ve mentioned before that dresses will save you from the summer style slump, and that holds true even for the mini dresses.
