What a week! Since we’re about to enter one of my favorite months, it’s time to browse the shops for a few summer pieces. My beauty no-buy is still happening, but now I’m starting to browse around for vacation outfits.
Summer fashion can be a little tricky because, at the end of the day, you just want to dress appropriately for the weather. My primary goal for summer wear is finding lightweight fabric, daytime colors, and straw accessories. Below are the 5 clothing and accessory pieces I’m on the hunt for this month, as well as a few of my personal picks from each category!
Summer Style Wishlist

- Oversized Sun Hats
- Striped Maxi Dresses
- Eyelet Tops
My biggest wishlist item is definitely the straw bag. I keep seeing quite a few options online that I like, but I’m hoping I can find one in store. While I normally don’t have a preference, the straw bags currently on sale look like they might have fairly long shoulder straps. Since I’m short, making sure the bag lays how I want it to is very important.
As you saw in my latest outfit post, I do already have a striped maxi dress…but I’m really looking for another option to keep in my wardrobe. I loved the comfortable fit of the Forever 21 dress so I hope I can find a similar fit with a bolder print. All in all, my summer fashion wishlist is pretty minimal this year!
