What is it about getting older that makes you want to hang out with your parents? I visited my parents over the weekend and had such a great time. The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the traffic was nonexistent. This is the outfit I wore yesterday during our cookout.
The t-shirt is a newer purchase from my Spring haul. I didn’t publish anything related to the fashion haul, but I went on a bit of a shopping spree after cleaning out my closet. This tee is from Target, and I love that it’s more of a relaxed fit. If you’re looking for one of the trendy “Celfie” tees, I recommend checking out your local Target because they have them for the most affordable price. When it comes to trendier pieces, I’m not one to spend a lot of money. For my denim shorts, however, I am willing to pay for a quality pair. I’m in the process of replenishing my shorts collection, and this low rise pair was a steal from Topshop. The shoes are my newest option for a casual day. I haven’t given up on my Plimsol sneakers yet, but these Virggo sneakers are a cleaner option. I purchased these from Steve Madden, but they aren’t broken in just yet so they aren’t comfortable after a few hours.
I love the look of leopard print against a simple look, which is why I tend to choose this bag for basic outfits. The only downside to bucket bags is they are the hardest shape to find your products. I recommend packing light or organizing your items inside with mini travel or makeup bags. The sunglasses I’m wearing are the same Vivienne style that I’ve worn in the past few outfit posts, only these are the black color instead of the gold. On my lips is an NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague. Lastly, my nails are “Flamingo Flair” by Salon Perfect, which you may remember is the color that caused my nail polish haul. I finally found it this weekend, so the only color I’m still on the hunt for is Purple Pop.
