Maxi dresses are the fashionably acceptable version of sweatpants. They are that comfortable. Actually, most dresses in general are comfortable. The only issue with maxi dresses and being short is the problem with length, which is why I tied a knot at the end of my dress. Never knowing what shoes to pair with a maxi, I went with my default safety of the Steve Madden KStudd flats.
