It’s time to break out the spring dresses. I bought this favorite last summer from Forever 21, and it introduced me to the fit of a smock dress. I’ve noticed this three-tiered smock dress style is back in stores this season, so hopefully I can find a solid white one to purchase. Last year, my spring dresses were primarily prints. While I love a good print, I’d like to switch it up and find a few solid dresses so I can style them multiple ways.
I featured this particular dress on the blog previously, but this time I added a denim jacket to stay covered. The dress is pretty short and essentially backless, so the denim jacket helped me feel more secure with avoiding potential wardrobe malfunctions. I like how the outfit mixes with neutral flats over sandals.
As for accessories, I kept the jewelry pretty minimal. There’s something about big hair and big earrings that I love, so I of course had to wear large hoop earrings. Other than that, I only added the double ring from Kendra Scott.
