This is the first of many outfit posts where I showcase a work look. As mentioned in my weekend wear  OOTD post, I am going to start incorporating office outfits into my blog since I recently started a new job. Our dress code is business casual and denim, which is perfect for a girl transitioning from retail life to the corporate world.

I was a very late bloomer on the peplum trend, but I am officially a fan. Peplum tops are both flattering and comfortable, and I strongly encourage ladies to just try it on if you aren’t convinced yet. This look received a lot of compliments at work last week. It’s very feminine for me, but the outfit certainly made me feel ready for the spring. I love this top so much, I’m wearing it again today. (This time with light blue denim and romantic waves.)
