Hi, I'm Chelsey

What I'm Wearing: Forever 21 blouse | H&M pants | Giuseppe Zanotti heels | River Island handbag

If you haven’t already made yourself familiar with Forever 21’s contemporary selection, head there after reading this post and have a look. These days I primarily head to Forever 21 for 1 of 2 reasons:

  1. I’m looking for a one-time wear outfit for a particular occasion.
  2. I’m shopping for office-appropriate attire.

The top shown above is the latest fashion find from Forever 21, one that I purchased on a whim online and ended up loving. It’s a split back cropped blouse stitched over a sleeveless white tank to create a layered effect.

While I don’t believe this top is still available, you can easily achieve and customize the look to your style by doubling up on two blouses already in your closet. A blush or cream top layered over the white sleeveless blouse will switch the mood from office chic to light sophistication. Alternately, you can ring in the fall season by choosing earth tones such as olive, rust, or scarlet. For pants, I’ve really been into the exposed ankle over the past few months. Topshop and Urban Outfitters sell denim that intentionally graze the ankle, but a cigarette pant achieves the same look with a little more polish.

What do you think of the layered look?
