What I’m Wearing: Topshop plaid (similar) | Urban Outfitters tank (similar) | Levi’s jeans | Converse shoes | Quay sunglasses

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine was social and productive, which is the best kind of weekend to have. Now that winter is slowly drifting away, I’m starting to clear out my closet and look at what essentials are missing for spring. Despite spending the bulk of Saturday at the mall, I didn’t get to check anything off my essential shopping list as far as clothes are concerned. Today’s outfit is what I wore on Sunday while shooting pics with friends and heading to a birthday lunch.

I’m not one to wear sneakers often, but this casual look was a result of being exhausted from Saturday’s festivities. I like how the Converse look with the plaid and stripes print combination. If you’re new to mixing prints and feel a bit hesitant to try it out, I recommend recreating a look like this one and keeping it very relaxed. You can’t go wrong with using an essential striped top as the base of your outfit and picking a complementary print as the second layer.

How do you mix prints?
