This outfit was too plain at first, so I decided to throw an unexpected shoe with it. I like how it came out, still very casual with the leopard print bootie being the statement piece. What’s great about keeping a lot of solid colors in your wardrobe is that you can mix and match accessories to fit the occasion. I could just as easily pair this look with Keds, boots, or even heels and the outfit would still be wearable. When it comes down to it, we all want to get the most out of our wardrobe. I’m at the stage where I just want to fill my entire closet with the basics: solid cardigans, plain tops, and neutral bottoms. The only exceptions for me are floral print and stripes, because there’s something about those two prints that I can’t resist.
