Happy Oscars Day! I’m watching Gravity as I post this, and afterwards I’m going to watch 12 Years a Slave. After a long day yesterday, I’m looking forward to staying indoors and off my feet. Today’s snapshot is a picture my friend took of me last night after finally ripping the bandaid off and investing in a bag I’ve wanted for years, literally.

Actually, let me correct myself: I’ve wanted a Louis Vuitton for years, but this particular style I recently switched towards favoring. The good thing about waiting for years and years is that I had plenty of time to make sure the style is exactly what I want. I generally only reach for bags that have shoulder straps like a tote or crossbody, which is what made me ultimately pick the Neverfull MM over the original choice of the Speedy. I’m extremely happy with my purchase despite the steep price. The sales associate was nice enough to let me know I just barely avoided the annual price increase. It’s always hard to talk myself into spending a lot of money on something, but they don’t call them investment pieces for nothing! As always, with a new bag comes an updated ‘what’s in my bag’ post, so keep an eye out for that very soon for a picture of the new purchase! The only thing I still have to get is an investment wallet.
