I’m a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. While I do enjoy wearing flowy dresses and trying out trends, to the core I will always instinctively reach for a casual tee and denim. With high-waisted shorts currently in season, reaching for the standard tee can be a bit of an annoyance. Why pair a normal length tee with high shorts? Unless you don’t mind tucking it in, the style of short gets completely hidden by the shirt. This is what I like about casual tees being made into crop tops. They sit right where the waistband of the shorts begins, so it’s a nice updated (or retro, depending on your take of the current trends) way to wear a tee and denim outfit.

This crop top in particular is so comfortable, I went to Urban Outfitters over the weekend with the intention of getting the same shirt in the other available colors. The cashier that checked me out for the original shirt told me I’d come back for more once I wore it. Who knew how accurate she would be? The tee has a worn in feel to it that makes me want to wear it every single day. When I went back, there weren’t anymore left unfortunately, so I’ll have to order them online.
