The Fashion
I wear a variation of this look nearly every week for work. For those of you who don’t know, I work in an office environment with a business to business casual dress code. The great thing about being able to wear jeans is the comfort level; however, it can quickly become my daily choice for bottoms. Black pants enable the comfort of a jean without the look of one. This latest pair is from Zara, and I like how form-fitting they are. For the top, I’m wearing one of my most-loved blouses from Topshop. To switch up the look, I’ll usually swap out my shoes and accessories. This time around, I paired the leopard Elusion flats from Steve Madden with a simple quilted crossbody from Forever 21, and a gold statement necklace from Target.
The Beauty
Now that Spring is here, I’m getting the itch to wear my natural curls out more often. Although it isn’t cut properly right now, I figured I might as well give the lazy ponytail hairstyle a break. I’m wearing Lancome’s Nude Miracle sheer foundation, which is on steady rotation as far as my face products go. The lipstick is a recently rediscovered shade from my makeup collection, called “Mauve Mania” by Maybelline.
