OPI’s Nudes
Left to Right: Samoan Sand // Dulce de Leche // San-Tan-Tonio
- Samoan Sand – A semi-sheer neutral-toned beige color that’s great for keeping nails minimal without being naked. This will look nice on all skin tones. (Soft Shades Collection)
- Dulce de Leche – A pink-toned nude color that applies neutral with only one coat, and becomes more pink as additional coats are applied. (Classic Colors)
- San-tan-Tonio – A cool-toned tan that would look great against deep ebony skin or very fair complexions. Skin tones in between may want to add a glitter top coat to add dimension, as it can look a little like mannequin hands. (Texas Collection)
Swatched below in the same order, with Essie’s Partner in Crime on the pinky finger. (All with two coats applied)
ESSIE Fall 2014 (and a Few Others)
Left to Right: Bahama Mama // After School Boy Blazer // The Perfect Cover Up // Fall In Line // Take It Outside // Partner In Crime
- Bahama Mama – A cool toned berry shade that’s a perfect balance between plum and maroon. (It’s Better in the Bahamas Collection)
- After School Boy Blazer – Very deep blue shade that has a much darker finish when two coats are applied. (Fall Collection 2013)
- The Perfect Cover Up – My favorite shade of them all! This one is a unique steel blue with grey undertones that only requires one coat to have a full, thick application. (Fall Collection 2014)
- Fall in Line – Another good quality shade with just one application, this color is a smoky jade that applies exactly as it looks in the bottle. (Fall Collection 2014)
- Take it Outside – This shade is best described as a cool-toned taupe that has high-color impact considering the lightness of the shade. (Fall Collection 2014)
- Partner in Crime – A beautifully rich chocolate shade that is as close to black without being black when two coats or more are applied. (Fall Collection 2014)
Swatches below are all applied with one coat.
OPI Berry Reds
Left to Right: Lincoln Park After Dark // Lincoln Park at Midnight // Get Cherried Away // Malaga Wine // Red My Fortune Cookie
- Lincoln Park After Dark – An OPI cult classic, this shade is a blue-toned very deep plum. (Classic Colors)
- Lincoln Park At Midnight – The same shade as the classic version, with a metallic twist. (Classic Colors)
- Get Cherried Away – A red-toned purple that has a bold application with just one coat. (Coca-Cola Collection)
- Malaga Wine – A very rich, cool-toned red that has become one of my favorite red shades. (Classic Colors)
- Red My Fortune Cookie – The only way I can describe this is by calling it a spicy red. Great dupe for Marc Jacobs Lola polish. (Hong Kong Collection)
My very messy (sorry) swatches below all have just one coat applied.
What are some of your fall polish picks?
