Hi, I'm Chelsey

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, and whether you’re celebrating with your BF, GBF, or BFFs, you’ll need something to wear. I’ll be spending the day celebrating my friend’s birthday, which you’ll see the outfit for on Monday. For now, check out a few outfits I put together to help inspire your Saturday night attire. As you’ll see below, the looks are great for girls who don’t want to overdo it with the red or pink outfit. In fact, they’re versatile enough to be worn as a date night outfit beyond Valentine’s Day, hence the post title.

Outfit 1: Sweet and Flirty

Definitely the most romantic of the bunch, this white dress look is perfect for the girly girl. It’s soft and pretty, which pairs well with light makeup and tousled waves. The soft pink shades allude to Valentine’s Day without being overbearing or looking too forced.

Outfit 2: Bold and Edgy

A solid shirtdress is casually cute, but the color choice and strappy heel transitions the piece well into the night. If your legs are your favorite feature, the shirtdress is a great pick. The heels will provide an added bonus of making your legs appear more toned. Add some color with a spicy red lip and nail combo. A leopard print clutch finishes the look, keeping it from looking too monochromatic.

Outfit 3: Neutral and Trendy

This look is for the girl who likes to stay on trend and doesn’t dress for the holiday. The matching two-piece outfit is still very much on trend, and a body chain underneath adds a subtle touch. Nude heels keep the length in your legs, which is important since midi skirts can often chop legs in half. A printed clutch that veers away from the color palette of the outfit makes for a good focal point.

Which outfit do you like the most? I personally am partial to outfit two. Nothing is an instant boost of confidence like an all black ensemble paired with a red lip.
