Happy Monday! It feels like I’ve been away from the blog for a while, even though I just posted on Friday. I didn’t get a chance to post last Wednesday due to writer’s block, so I’m sharing one of the looks I wore to work last week.

The Fashion

I’ve been a tad anti-denim lately. I love my jeans, but winter started early and appears to be ending later than usual, so my desire to wear dresses is currently in overdrive. Wearing pants day after day can get a little boring, especially since I haven’t jumped on the wide leg train yet and only wear skinny pants. My solution has been to spruce it up with color. The blush pair pictured today is from H&M, and I like them because they have a cool-toned grey hue amongst the pink color. The black blouse is one of my favorites from Topshop, and I added a houndstooth scarf over top for a little pattern.

The Beauty

I wanted to curl my hair–and I think it would have looked a lot better–but I simply didn’t have enough time in the morning, so I left it straight. I added a little pink to my makeup by wearing Milani’s “Matte Blissful” lipstick shade. On my nails is “Topless & Barefoot” by Essie, which you can see a better swatch of here.
