I sat around with little to no energy on Sunday. If you’re curious what I’m talking about, I’ve been sick with (possibly maybe) the flu (or a stubborn cold trying its hardest to mimic the flu) since late last week. What’s a girl to do when she’s sick? Well, the logical answer would be to stay in bed all weekend and rest up. While I did end the weekend that way, I felt well enough on Saturday to stop by a few stores and take a couple of “sick” selfies for the site.

I’m not someone who wears false eyelashes regularly, but I do like to try them out for special events or to spice up photographs. In these photos, I’m wearing the Ardell Demi Wispies. Sometimes getting dressed and playing around in makeup can improve your mood. 

The sick selfie shoot inspired me to give a mini facelift to the site. If you aren’t on a desktop, please visit the site the next time you’re near a computer. Venti Fashion was primarily made up of a lot of white space with the previous design, and the newest one adds a bit of depth to the site. While I still love a good minimal design, I think the transition into black accents fits the season better. Who says you need to wait until the new year to revamp your blog?

In addition to the slight revamp, I’ve added a few Fall items to the shop section and published an FAQ page.

Last on the update train is the app. We’re currently undergoing maintenance to resolve the publishing delay on the app, so hang tight!
