I had a great time in Vegas: good food, good weather, and good shops. Rather than divide my trip by day similar to the Austin City Limits photo diaries, I divided some of my favorite shots into categories:
- Fashion + Shopping
- Food
- Sightseeing
- Night Shots
Between my phone and my camera, I ended up taking 200+ pictures. To show a little glimpse into the relaxing trip, I’m sharing some of my favorite shots from each category. This probably goes without saying, but this post is picture heavy.
The Shops
Last time I was in Vegas, I hadn’t realized practically every hotel has a mall or decent sized shopping center. We toured nearly every hotel on the strip and were amazed at how the shops seemed to never end.
The Food
I didn’t take nearly enough pictures of all the food we ate, but I posted my fair share on Snapchat. Of all the restaurants we tried, Mon Ami Gabi was my favorite. It’s a cute little French breakfast place inside the Paris hotel that has outdoor seating along the strip. Sitting outside and people watching while eating waffles made me never want to eat indoors again.
The View
I stayed at the Signature at MGM in a beautiful condo with a corner view. Much like the food changing my standards with restaurants, this hotel changed my standards with rooms. Our room basically felt like I was in an apartment, equipped with a full kitchen and everything. It was hard to get a good shot of the room, but I was able to take a quick snapshot of a portion of our balcony view.
The Night Life
I am by no means a night photographer, but Vegas was too alive to walk away without a few shots of the strip.
All in all, I loved Vegas just as much as I did the first time around.
