Anyone else feeling the effects of losing that hour of sleep over the weekend? Despite that minor setback, this was my first official weekend off and boy did I enjoy it. After working six years in retail, it felt amazing to have both weekend days to myself. 2013 has been so good to me so far, and I’m excited to open a new chapter in life. With this new chapter, I wanted to let you guys know that I’ll be having a minimum of two outfit posts a week: one will be weekend wear, one will be office wear. Incorporating outfits that I wear to work into my blog will keep my job attire from getting stuck in a rut.
This is the outfit I wore over the weekend. I’ve had these pants for months now, but never wore them until a week or so ago. The moment I put them on, I was obsessed. Harem pants can be hit or miss, but they are definitely making their way back into the trend list with spring fashion. For me, they’re a winner this season as opposed to last season because the drop waist is less MC Hammer and more casual cool. I paired the comfortable pants with a simple tanktop and black bralette.

I seriously love these pants on you. Only one who can pull them off!
Thanks Kate! I think I want to try printed harem pants next!
