What I’m Wearing: Topshop Coat | Topshop Blouse | Topshop Jeans | H&M Booties (similar) | Celine Sunglasses
And just like that, January is already almost behind us. I’m not sure how it is where you live, but here in Texas, the weather has constantly flipped back and forth between winter and spring this month. I’m taking full advantage of the cooler days and keeping my winter wardrobe on rotation, as seen in this leopard look. The coat featured in today’s outfit post is the newest addition to my outerwear collection. It’s from Topshop, purchased during Nordstrom’s half-yearly sale.
I used to want a fur leopard coat, but I much prefer the classic longline alternative. It’s such a clean cut that it quickly makes any outfit look polished and put together. Here I’ve kept the rest of the outfit pretty minimal, in a white blouse and dark denim (both from Topshop) paired with winter booties from H&M. Accessories are also kept to a minimum, sticking with my staple midi rings from Kendra Scott and these gorgeous Celine sunglasses borrowed from my friend and photographer for this shoot. This kind of outfit is my favorite because while it looks pulled together and stylish, it’s really effortless and made up of wardrobe essentials.
So how do you style a leopard coat? Here are 3 easy tips:
- Keep it simple. (The rest of the outfit, that is.)
- Don’t let the print intimidate you. Wear it with confidence and a red lip.
- Pair it with heeled booties for a sophisticated winter outfit.

Very cute! Love how the coat is the focal point, and you have on just jean and a white shirt, so chic.
Thanks! With a jacket like this one, the outfit can be as simple as ever and still make a statement. Next up I want to pair with stripes to mix prints.
