Hello, hello and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! Being that we’re in a holiday week, this is more of a throwback post. This look was shot for the How to Style Red Boots video that went up last month, and it’s one of the bolder looks I’ve worn this year. The red coat is such a statement piece that even a simple outfit like a graphic tee and black pants has a bit of attitude. For a cohesive look, I wore Steve Madden red boots instead of the usual black boot option. Mixing heels with casual tees can be a bit polarizing, but I’m in the ‘love it’ camp. I like to keep outfits in a happy medium when it comes to casual vs dressy, so pairing two pieces together that fit different moods is my favorite style.
