Hi, I'm Chelsey

Happy Wednesday!

Sephora-Haul-Boscia-Skincare-1 Today, I’m going to quickly share with you an update in regards to my skincare journey. The last few posts (and the one coming on Friday) have been pretty text heavy so I wanted to vary it up a bit…I mean, we don’t always have the time to read lengthy posts.

I want to share some skincare items with you that I picked up due to perfect timing. If you aren’t familiar with my New Year’s resolutions, one of them is to invest in a good skincare routine. I’m currently on a break from the first attempt at a new routine, but that’s about to end next month. I was browsing Sephora’s mobile site the other night, trying to research a few options when I came across Boscia’s line of skincare products. The black packaging caught my eye, and the descriptions reeled me in. The only thing that stopped me from adding it to my bag was the price. Naturally, skincare sold at Sephora is on the higher end of the price scale. Who wants to spend a lot on a full-sized product without knowing how it’ll change your skin? Instead, I made a mental note to check it out in-store and do some thorough research before limiting myself to one new product.

Fast forward to the next day when I’m out shopping with my friend and stop by Sephora for a new primer. I’m the shopper who never cashes in her beauty points because they never have anything that interests me. This time, the 500 point perk was a sample kit of the Boscia line I was looking at the night prior. Talk about perfect timing! Instantly, I cashed some of my points in and walked away satisfied.

Obviously, I haven’t used any of the four products provided as I intend on testing it out during the month of June. I still wanted to share it with you all because I love knowing when there’s a good Sephora point perk, and it may be helpful to those of you on the market for new skincare products.

What it comes with

Luminizing Black Mask

The full size of this is 2.8 oz and retails for $34. I’m most excited for this product because I currently don’t have a mask in my skincare routine. According to Sephora’s website, it’s supposed to be a peel-off mask that strips away dead skin, impurities, and excess oil to reveal immediate and visible results.

Detoxifying Black Cleanser

The full size version is 5 fl oz and retails for $28. This cleanser is described as a warming gel cleanser that heats up on contact with skin to de-clog pores. I’ve used warming cleanser by Clean & Clear in the past and wasn’t a huge fan, but we’ll see how this one works with my skin. When it comes to temperatures, I usually prefer products that have a cooling effect.

Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel

The full size version of this product is 1 fl oz that retails for $38. I’m pretty excited for this because it’s described as a cooling moisturizer that should refine the skin’s texture and minimize the look of pores. I love my Pond’s moisturizer, but I’m open to trying something new.

Pore Purifying Black Strips

Lastly, the full size of this product comes with 12 strips and retails for $28. I’m not super into this product and I don’t really expect to like it. It’s not that I don’t think it’ll work, it’s that I’ve never been interested in the nose strip products. It only comes with one, so I doubt I’ll truly be able to see if it’s worth it but I’ll do my best to update you all after I’ve used it.

Overall, I’m hoping to like at least one or two of these products. Have any of you tried Boscia skincare?
