This is pretty much a Netflix and chill-approved outfit, am I right?
But, seriously. We all have those times where we just want to stay in all day. Personally, I love being at home. I find I’m most productive when I’m working from my own space, even though I like to switch the scenery and hit up a local coffee spot every once in a while. Despite working from home on the weekends, I still like to get dressed. Rolling out of bed in pajamas with unkempt hair doesn’t really jive with my creative energy. The weekend is also my time to experiment with makeup looks or try out new products, so often times I’ll wear a comfortable outfit but have on a full face of makeup.
Casual joggers are my pick for the perfect “staying in” fashion item because they’re super cozy yet look more put together than classic sweatpants. I paired mine with an oversized graphic tee, courtesy of my mom. When I purchased these joggers a few weeks ago, I pictured myself styling them with a plain white tee and Nike trainers, but I like the contrast the bold text on my tee provides–it adds something extra and keeps the look from being too bland. My shoes also aren’t what I envisioned but I think white sneakers look better with this outfit. (I ended up buying the Nike Juvenate trainers in black.) For accessories, I stacked quite a few new rings on each hand to add to the “cool girl” style. My nail polish is a longtime favorite, Essie’s The Perfect Cover Up.
PS: On my lips is Kae by ColourPop! As part of the #liquidlipseries, I’m going to share swatches of this shade and my other ColourPop ultra matte lips next week!
