What I’m Wearing: Urban Outfitters sweater | Forever 21 pants (similar) | Victoria’s Secret slippers

Happy Monday! If you follow along on Instagram, you may have noticed my weekend was centered all around Christmas. After my weekend plans got canceled because of all of the rain, I decided to finally finish Christmas shopping. Not only that, but I also wrapped everything so I can officially shift my focus to year-end tasks this week. To stay in line with my festive weekend, I decided to shoot yesterday’s outfit indoors by my mini Christmas tree.

The majority of my sweaters over the years have been from Urban Outfitters, and this cozy black sweater is no different. A good sweater is hard to find and always needed, so I tend to shop for quality and keep each one for several years. I’ve found that Urban Outfitters sweaters don’t shrink or pill after multiple washes. Sweaters can feel a bit thick and uncomfortable if they’re made with the wrong fabric. This sweater is extremely lightweight, almost t-shirt like, with a wide-ribbed knit and relaxed fit. The dolman sleeves and oversized fit makes it feel like I’m wearing a well-worn tee.

I try to wear outfits that are both casual and put together on days like yesterday where I have to run errands for a bit but spend most of the day at home. I also had a conference call yesterday and I don’t know about you, but I still need to get ready for the day when I work from home; otherwise, it’s easy to feel lethargic and want to procrastinate. With the cozy black sweater, I wore my most comfortable black pants from Forever 21. Of course, actual shoes aren’t pictured since I shot this indoors, but I do have on a pair of extremely comfortable slippers from Victoria’s Secret. The slippers are a trendy fur-lined loafer style and would make an excellent Christmas gift if you’re still on the hunt!
