The Fashion
I actually featured this double denim look previously as an outfit of the day, only the styling was a tad different. The first time I wore nude heels and big hair that dressed it up a bit, whereas this time I went with a trendier Spring sandal. I pretty much boycotted Forever 21 shoes after purchasing a pair of boots that were uncomfortable after wearing them for only a few hours. Sometimes beauty is pain, so I took the risk with a few pairs of shoes this season, and I’m pleasantly surprised with the comfort. I wore these strappy sandals all day at work and even went to the store to run some errands afterwards with no problems. The tote bag isn’t my usual style, but I liked how it mixed with the casual look of this outfit. I actually got it from Bath & Body Works during one of their candle promotions.
The Beauty
Once again, I’m wearing the Quay Australia sunglasses in the style Vivienne. Can you tell these are my favorite? If you missed it, I have a full blog post on the brand that makes for a great read before you purchase. As for the makeup, I’ve been into neutral lips for the spring. I’m thinking of doing a lipstick post featuring my favorite neutral lip shades to help out those of you similar to my skin tone. On this day, I have on Bite Beauty’s Butter Cream lipstick in Hazelnut topped with NYX’s Butter Gloss in Tiramisu.
