Fun fact: I’m not a shoe person. I’ve never been the girl who’s dying to go shoe shopping. On the contrary, shoe shopping is actually pretty stressful and overwhelming for me because I tend to overthink, much like I do in my everyday life. It sounds ridiculous, but it’s a pretty stressful experience because when I see a pair of shoes I like, it takes me forever to buy them. I always think about the price, the quality, how comfortable they are, how much I really like them, how long they’ll last, and if I will realistically wear them enough to justify the purchase. Because I hardly buy shoes, most of mine are too small so I’m in the process of replacing them.

I was looking for classic styles, but a few “trendy” shoes caught my eye instead. The floral lace boots aren’t my typical style but I like them. Sometimes fashion can be so odd that it circles back around to being cute. That’s what floral combat boots are to me. I feel like if they’re styled with a very minimalist approach, the boots can really pop in a subtle way. I like a challenge, so we’ll see how I wear them in a future outfit post. The black boots are a similar style to Jeffrey Campbell Litas, but for a much cheaper price. I plan to wear them with super dark denim and an oversized cozy knit sweater once Fall rolls around. I also purchased nude boots with a thin heel from JustFab, but I haven’t received them yet so they aren’t pictured. I’m actually not even sure I’ll get them because the website had my old apartment number, so cross your fingers!
