The countdown is on! It seems like just yesterday we were giving thanks, and now we’re less than a week away from Christmas. For the final ‘gift ideas’ post for the year, I thought I’d switch things up and share what I got for Friendsmas over the weekend. Not only did my friends kill it this year, but I genuinely think these gifts are great ideas to share with you all if you’re still on the hunt for the perfect present. The best part is that most of these beauty and lifestyle gifts can all be found in Target, Sephora, and/or your local Nordstrom. 

Stationery and little bits for your home are great gifts because they’re easy to find and are extremely useful. Sugar Paper LA has a full collection of stationery and planners available at Target right now that are trendy yet simple. I particularly like the sticky note set I received because little page flags are included, which I like to use in notebooks if I’m creating multiple checklists.

One of my friends cracks me up because he knows that I’m not someone who will ever purchase a Kardashian/Jenner product, so he will keep me updated with which items from Kylie Cosmetics are good products and gift them to me. I’m convinced he’d like for me to become a fan of their family. While that will never happen, I can appreciate a quality product when I swatch one. The Burgundy Palette from Kylie Cosmetics is surprisingly good quality so I have to admit I was pleased to receive it as a gift. The colors remind me of the Modern Renaissance palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills.

I’m excited to try out the Dose of Colors liquid lipstick since it’s the one liquid lipstick brand I haven’t tried yet. From the initial test, it immediately reminded me of Coloured Raine’s Cherry Blossom, but it has a has a little more vibrancy. Lush Cosmetics offers a wide variety of products that all smell incredible, but my favorite is their bar soap. It’s nice because you can customize the size of the soap and pay by weight rather than a standard price.

I actually added the House of Nirvana Black box set to a previous gift guide, but they now offer the candle as a separate purchase for a fraction of the price. This candle would make an excellent gift for a loved one if you know they enjoy the Nirvana Black fragrance. It’s exciting to see my favorite perfumes get made into a candle, so I’m hoping this trend will continue well into the new year.

Tarte has a few eyeshadow palettes out right now, but there are mini portable options also available in Sephora’s impulse buy section that make for the perfect stocking stuffer. It’s a nice way to try out a new eyeshadow palette without fully committing to the larger color selection.
