Hi, I'm Chelsey

With only 2 weeks left of my style challenge and daylight savings extending the sunshine, I’m ready for Spring. Since I can’t venture into my Spring clothes–which truthfully is mostly solid grey and white–until the challenge is over, I’ve started browsing online for a little post-challenge inspiration. Thanks to the challenge, I’ve noticed that I don’t really need many new clothes; however, a few accessories have caught my eye:

Chloe Faye Flap Bag (x)

I know every fashion blogger either wants or has the Chloe Faye (or Drew) bag, but can you blame us? Chloe is killing it with the handbag selection lately, and I particularly love the design of the Faye bag. It takes a long time for me to splurge on fashion items since I feel like the ROI is better with a technology splurge, but it’s impossible to ignore the beauty of this particular purse. How gorgeous is the taupe style with the gold hardware? It’s the perfect high-end ‘cool girl’ bag: chic and effortless.

Sam Edelman Dawson Sandal (x)

I have one pair of strappy sandals from Forever 21 that are extremely flat. While i love the style, they are not ideal to wear for extended periods of time. The Sam Edelman option I included above will likely be my Spring shoe purchase if I can’t find a style from Steve Madden that catches my eye.

Smith + Cult Polish (x)

In terms of beauty, I’m still loving neutral nails so I don’t see myself reaching for a lot of color this Spring. I haven’t heard much about Smith & Cult’s nail polish, but the packaging and specifically this sheertone peach piqued my interest in the brand. Last on the wishlist is a simple yet purposeful hair accessory.

Anthropologie Hair Clips (x)

Minimal accessories like the gold hair clip shown above could be useful for those days that you want to wear  your hair down but also keep it out of your face. I don’t like hairstyles that have an ‘overly done’ look, so dainty clips and pins are right up my alley. The main reason I wear my hair in a chignon or sleek ponytail so often is because they’re both quick and easy ways to pull my hair out of my face; however, using pins to loosely style my hair is a healthier alternative.

What’s on your wishlist for Spring this year?
