Can you believe we’re well into Fall and it’s still warm enough on some days to wear shorts? Today’s outfit post is providing some style inspiration for those transition days. I’m wearing a cropped sweatshirt from Topshop, but you can absolutely recreate the look with a classic Hanes or Fruit of the Loom sweatshirt. The hem is unfinished so if you purchase a classic sweatshirt, you can cut the bottom to your liking for a cropped effect.

What I love about the Topshop version is not only is it a cropped sweatshirt, but the sleeves are extra long. I love when tops have sleeves long enough to cover your hands. For the rest of the outfit, I wanted to wear heeled boots with the top to keep it from looking overly casual. It’s totally possible to dress up a cropped sweatshirt, you just have to throw on a heeled boot or a skirt.

One of the big trends right now, especially with fashion bloggers, is mixing casual with dressy. For example, you’d pair a graphic tee with a maxi skirt instead of wearing a nice blouse. In today’s outfit, I’m wearing Steve Madden boots with a Forever 21 skirt to dress up the cropped sweatshirt.
