Happy Monday! I was sick most of the weekend, so I laid in bed and read books when I wasn’t resting. Is it just me, or is there something so cleansing about a social media break? Anytime I unplug for a day or two, my mind just feels clear. While I certainly didn’t enjoy being sick, it did remind me of my goal to unplug more regularly this year. I’d like to unplug at least once a week, but I’m not sure when to incorporate it into my routine. Despite being sick over the weekend, I’m here with a new outfit post!

I hate to jinx it, but I think we’ve finally reached the tail end of cold weather here in Texas. Thank the heavens for that too because it was absolutely freezing when I shot this look! We are once again looking at one of my many graphic tees, but you guys…this one is an absolute favorite! I don’t think I’ve posted this tee on the blog before today, but I literally wear this shirt all the time in my daily life. For one, it’s cute and positive! For two, mustard looks so good on brown skin.
Whenever I wear this top, I always want to style it with leopard. I’ll usually opt for my leopard sandals or clutch, but I tried it out with this coat due to the weather.
Leopard Print Style Tips:
I’ve spent the last few weeks browsing around online, searching for spring outfit inspiration. One thing I’ve noticed while shopping online is that leopard print is creeping its way back to the forefront of trends. Whether we have 6 more weeks of winter soon or spring comes early, below are a few quick and easy tips for making sure your leopard print always looks good.
- Start small! If you’re intimidated by leopard print, try wrapping a skinny leopard belt around a classic trench coat for a subtle and chic look.
- Treat leopard like a neutral–it literally pairs well with any color! For maximum style points, choose an earth tone.
- A bold lip is always a good idea when you’re wearing leopard print. Try a deep scarlet or plum shade with your next printed outfit.
- Don’t overdo it. Although leopard is a classic print, it can quickly look too busy. Limit the print to just one or two items in your full outfit.
What’s your favorite way to style leopard print? I notice the upcoming season is causing a lot of leopard bottoms to hit the shelves, but I am definitely in the outerwear or accessory camp these days for the printed trend. What do you think?
