Leopard is timeless. Olive is consistently on trend for Fall. Mixing a seasonal trend with something classic creates the perfect balance in an outfit. Lately, I’ve loved wearing surplice blouses to work. Ever since purchasing a black one from Topshop, I’ve had a mental shopping list to collect this style of blouse in multiple colors, particularly earth tones.
The great thing about a surplice blouse is how the draping falls in a flattering manner so it doesn’t feel like the top is wearing you. With work attire, it’s easy to fall into the ho-hum staples of a button down and slacks. My advice is to add variety by swapping the button down with a solid blouse, and increase to print as you grow more comfortable with the new fit.
The leopard flats are a fashionable alternate for heels because I haven’t found the perfect leopard print heel yet. The print mixes well with the olive blouse to create an earthy look, but it also adds a pop of print to an otherwise plain outfit.
