Happy Monday! It’s hard to believe we’re in April already, but I’m not complaining. If it weren’t for the sporadic storms, Spring would be my favorite season. It’s the one time of the year where the days are long while the temperatures are beautiful. Before we reach peak heat, I’m enjoying the option of switching between shorts and jeans on the weekends. I’ve featured these jeans before and also showcased them in my try-on haul video. Right now, they’re my go-to pair for the weekend because they’re comfortable and go well with any look.

The rest of the outfit is made up of items I’ve had in my closet for a while, but hadn’t worn very often. The high neck tank was purchased from Nordstrom several months ago, and I’m hoping to add a few tops with this similar neckline into my wardrobe. Despite my hate for turtlenecks as a child, I’ve slowly come to love them–especially when they’re sleeveless. The top is a casual t-shirt material, but I thought it would pair better with spring sandals instead of flats. The ones featured in today’s post are from Steve Madden. Heeled sandals are great to wear during the daytime without feeling too dressed up. The neutral colors and the wooden heel match almost perfectly to the top, keeping the look within a neutral color palette.
