BodyBoss Tone Guide Review-1

What is the BodyBoss Tone Guide?

A few weeks ago, I shared actionable tips to help you reset your resolutions. One of the tips included trying a new workout program as a way of shocking your body and avoiding that weight loss plateau. Whether you’re like me and need a variety of workouts to keep you interested, or you simply need the variety to continue seeing results, the BodyBoss Tone Guide is the perfect solution!

The BodyBoss Tone Guide is a 6-week body toning weights program filled with unique workouts which translates to more visible results. The program uses a 5-in-1 method that continuously challenges your body to promote fat loss, lean muscle building, and injury prevention.

The 5-in-1 method includes a mixture of:

  • HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
  • Strength and Resistance Training
  • Cardio Training
  • Circuit Training
  • Community, Motivation, and Inspiration

The workouts are split across 5 days within the week (5 days on, two days off) and have a mixture of exercises that use bodyweight, free weights, and machines that can be found at your local gym.

With the Tone Platform, you’re connected with a community of women to keep you inspired and motivated! The Tone Platform is a subscription-based website available to help you interact with other BodyBoss women from the palm of your hand. It also makes it easy to keep track of your own health journey because the Tone Platform contains daily workout videos and recipes that you can check off and mark as complete!

My BodyBoss Experience

To provide a little background, I consider myself a fairly active individual. I’ve tried several different workout routines of varying difficulty based on my fitness goals. No matter what routine I am completing, I average 3-5 days of physical activity. Most recently, I took a step back and started doing low-resistance training as a means of relaxation. After feeling like I reached my goal with low-resistance training, I was ready to jump back into something more demanding and focus on physical changes.

The BodyBoss Tone Guide is perfect for me because I like to maintain variety in my workouts for maximum flexibility. Sometimes it’s difficult to get to the gym, so only having to go twice a week to complete the machine workouts makes it much easier for me to remain consistent. The other 3 days typically require nothing more than a mat and free weights that I have at home.

Two of the main reasons why I would lose consistency in the past are time and restrictions. Programs that require a gym every day or more than an hour of time can be very demanding, so I find the variety BodyBoss provides. It makes it easy to stay on track and get the workouts done, even on the busiest of days.

Are the workouts challenging?

Yes!! If you’re hesitant about workout programs that include free weight and/or bodyweight exercises because you think they may be too easy, think again! I credit the challenge to a few things BodyBoss does successfully:

  • They make slight adjustments to traditional bodyweight exercises by adding weights or multiple sets.
  • The workouts seamlessly blend cardio exercises within each circuit.
  • The workouts are circuit-based! Each day includes 3-4 circuits to keep your body active and engaged.

Personally, I’m a huge fan of squats but I typically complete them on a flat surface. One of my favorite exercises in the BodyBoss Tone Guide is the front foot elevated squat. Although your back leg is on the ground, your front foot is on a step or weight plate. This little adjustment makes the movement more challenging than your average squat, and I love it!

The BodyBoss Tone Guide is filled with workouts like that to help you tone and sculpt in under 30 minutes most days. Not only do I notice changes on the outside as I work through the program, but I can feel a difference on the inside as well. I always wake up feeling sore (the good kind) from the previous day’s workout, which motivates me to keep going! With each passing week, I notice my stamina improving as I complete each circuit and my body becoming more toned.
