TOP: Forever 21 | SHORTS: Zara | SHOES: Nike
Happy Tuesday! So, today I wanted to dive headfirst into fall content. It rained literally the entire day yesterday, and I’ve been enjoying the slight temperature drop because of it. Before switching gears and talking more about transitional style (yes, that post is still on the way!), I thought I’d share the last really colorful look I wore near the end of summer. If you follow me on Instagram, you may recognize this look from my latest IG post!
While packing for New York, I didn’t necessarily have an idea of what I wanted to wear for each day–except for the museum day. I knew we were going to the Metropolitan Museum, so I wanted to feel a little artsy and colorful. Aside from this Forever 21 top, most of my New York outfits were earthy, fall-themed colors. Ever since I found a colorful jumpsuit at the beginning of the summer, I couldn’t get enough of colorful stripes.
The day we went to the Metropolitan Museum was also the day we were going to check out Central Park since they’re next door to each other. While the museum inspired the colorful top, the park venture is what inspired the rest of the outfit. I kept it simple and comfortable with soft denim shorts from Zara and a pair of white Nike shoes. I’m not totally convinced that I can’t rework this blouse into my fall and winter wardrobe, but it’s still the perfect fun top to round out my summer looks.
