Yes it’s October, but doesn’t the green of this sweater make you think of Christmas? After the rain, the weekend turned into ideal sweater weather. Open waterfall cardigans are perfect sweater styles for Fall because of the ease of removal. I layered mine with a basic black cami, but opting for a long-sleeved tee underneath gives you the ability to ditch the sweater if the sun brings the warmth. The quality of this particular sweater is excellent, especially considering it was under $30. Target had a few sales on their fall clothing a couple of weeks ago, and I took the opportunity to snag this one.
Green isn’t a color I generally wear unless it’s olive, but the waterfall front of the sweater won me over. Not that they aren’t already my staple item, black pants will be a recurring item for me this season. Flares may be on trend right now, but skinny pants are a better fit for the fall and winter months because they’re practical when wearing boots and booties. The jeans I’m wearing are from Urban Outfitters, and the booties are from H&M. Also, on my lips I’m wearing one of my favorite neutral combinations: Rimmel lip pencil in ‘Rich’ topped with Milani lipstick in ‘Rose Femme’. The deep neutral lip makes me question the days I ever loved a lighter nude.
