So, I literally just realized that pretty much my entire outfit is from Target as I was writing out the outfit details. Even though I will always be a jeans girl to my core, sometimes I get bored with jeans and want to switch it up for the office. In today’s look, I’m swapping my usual tee and jeans for polka dots and gingham print.

Polka Dots and Gingham Print
I talked a bit about the Who What Wear collection at Target previously, and this outfit is yet another one from the line. One of the main reasons why I wear jeans to the office more often than not is due to the fabric of business pants. I have always disliked the traditional business attire. The material always felt so uncomfortable and restricting. Uncomfortable clothing is a major deal breaker when I’m meant to wear it for 8+ hours a day. Then, I discovered Who What Wear.
The Who What Wear x Target collection is the perfect mix of office-appropriate clothing and weekend wear. I styled a weekend look with one of their gingham print tops, and today’s outfit incorporates gingham print for the office. These pants almost have a stretchy leggings kind of feel, so they aren’t stiff or uncomfortable throughout the day. Thanks to the comfortable fit, I purchased additional pairs in black and olive.
I unintentionally paired the polka dot blouse with these gingham print pants, but I love the outcome. I originally purchased this top because I wanted to style it with a pair of cropped wide-leg yellow trousers I purchased from the Chriselle Lim x JOA collaboration. That look is on hold because the pants look a bit long for me so I need to get them tailored. In the meantime, I’ve found this polka dot top to be extremely versatile. Prints can feel very limiting in terms of maximizing a wardrobe sometimes, but the color scheme of this polka dot top pairs well with nearly everything.
