Happy Monday! August is a bit of a weird month. It’s still summer (and the weather won’t let you forget it), but our minds begin to shift into the pre-fall mode. Even though it technically isn’t the end of the summer, I thought now would be a good time to share my summer favorites! All of my summer fashion and beauty purchases come to a halt in August as I begin to prep my wardrobe for the next season, so I don’t expect much to change between now and September.

As a matter of fact, I have a pretty summery outfit post coming tomorrow! As much as I would love to dive headfirst into pre-fall content, this month will likely still have summer content sprinkled throughout the site.

I hope you enjoy today’s favorites video! I think compiling favorites on a quarterly basis rather than a monthly basis works better for me. Even though I buy a few things here and there, I never purchase (or try) enough products each month to fully have a new batch of favorites to share with you all. I actually try to condense more and more each month. The older I get, the less I like to hold on to things on the off chance I’ll someday wear it. I’ve mentioned it before, but I think that’s one of the lingering (positive) effects from my dabble into minimalism a few years ago.
