Happy Tuesday! Tomorrow is a holiday and I never thought I’d be so eager for a midweek day off. Life has felt so busy lately! The hours of each day fly by before I know it and I still have a lot I want to get done. That’s pretty much how it goes with traveling, right? Even if you’re leaving for a few days, you’re pretty much working double time to truly take a breather. With all that being said, I am so ready for a break next week! In the meantime, tomorrow’s holiday will do just fine.

Today’s outfit is as casual as they come. I’m pretty much wearing simple outfits until my vacation rolls around, and it’s too hot outside to wear anything other than shorts! I normally wear black and white stripes, but I have to admit that I like the switch up from this Zara tee. The tighter horizontal stripes mixed with the clay red color is something I wouldn’t typically grab. I think the lighter stripes make it easy to throw on during the day for an “errands running” kind of look. Zara makes some of the softest cotton tees for a great price, I always wonder why I don’t go to them for the basics more often.

I’ve worn this outfit quite a few times over the past month, so I’m finally making it blog official. If this outfit is too casual for you, I would add some flair to the shirt by pairing it with white pants and wedges. I purchased white jeans a few months ago and have yet to bring them out, but I think it would be a nice mix with this top.
