In addition to fashion, I’m also quite into interior design. As I’ve gotten older and lived in various apartment situations, I’ve truly appreciated the ability to live on my own. It may sound a bit silly, but the best thing about living on my own as opposed to having roommates is the ability to complete decorate the apartment to fit my style. An apartment is never fully done, so I like finding inspiration from Tumblr. On a day filled with fashion week news, I thought I’d mix it up a bit and share my aesthetic for home decor: the black and white edition.
The minimal, modern black and white decor is my favorite design style because it just looks very clean and chic. I also notice that with colorful decor, I grow tired of it very quickly, whereas black and white is a timeless combination.

Yes black and white is great and you can always bring in some color with accent pieces.

Agreedd! It’s a good base to start with, even for those who want to incorporate color. Splurging on minimal and saving on colorful is a mantra I live by.
