Since today is the last day of 2015, I’m looking back at some of my personal favorite looks from the year. What makes the look a favorite? Well, my style is based on three very basic principles:
- I don’t like too much going on. I like to keep it simple.
- I want to be comfortable.
- I want to feel like myself, not like I’m wearing a costume.
These are my favorites because I feel that each outfit selected best represents my personality, style, and coincide with my style principles.
Olive Blouse + Leopard Flats
The surplice blouse is a workwear staple for me, as well as the pointed leopard flats which I sadly have to replace soon. View the full post here.
The Topshop Teacup Blouse
Speaking of workwear, this is another go-to look for me. The simple black and white with a quiet pop of animal print is so me, for lack of a better word. View the full post here.
Festival Fringe + Plaid over Stripes
I loved this outfit because not only was it comfortable, but despite it having a lot of individual trends, the look came together without feeling like too much. View the full post here.
Avengers Tee + Denim Cutoffs
If I could live in an outfit, it would be this one. A comfortably fitting tee with a favorite pair of denim shorts is a staple weekend outfit for me. It’s super simple, but I’m not one for flashy looks. View the full post here.
Striped Blazer + Fringe Gladiators
This was one of my favorite outfits because it included all of my favorite fashion items of 2015: a cross body bag, oversized sunglasses, a striped top, and fringe. View the full post here.
Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Love each of these looks. Really enjoying the blog. ??
